As in previous years, the Retirees’ Meeting organised by PEMÜ Zrt. was held on 12.10.2024.
The event was attended by a good number of retired colleagues, who were greeted on arrival by tables full of delicious treats.
The following summary of the meeting was written by Rita Lászlóné Tóth:
Almost unbelievably, this was the 14th, while one was cancelled due to kovid. However, we received a gift that will be a lasting compensation for all of us, as we received a beautiful, large book with a very sophisticated design and content, with photographs, narratives and a beautiful hard cover, covering the history and main events of the PEMÜ.
Now let’s return to this year, where we were greeted with the same unfailing love and kindness from the President and CEO of the PEMÜ as at any other in years gone by. Tables were set, music was played and, building on the successes of the past year, we enjoyed a performance by the artists of the Fedák Sári theatre in Soroksár. This year we were again delighted to receive the gift package, which showed the care and love.
Of course, some important and important things were shared with us by the CEO, who was introduced by Mrs. Udvarosné Hajdár Lilla.
Without being exhaustive, I would like to highlight some of the more important information from what was said: the objective for the coming year is to develop the PEMÜ by increasing its contacts at home and abroad. In the future, PEMÜ will focus on the development of its own products. Research and development and the training of apprentices and technicians remain priorities. This year again, more than 100 students started their studies at the PEMÜ Workshop. Investments also continue, with the addition of a 2,000-tonne injection moulding machine and the completion by the end of the year of a three-station automatic foaming cell in the polyurethane plant, capable of foaming large products without human assistance.
Elvira Hajdárné Molnár, President and CEO, reported that this year will be the 65th anniversary of the laying of the foundations of PEMÜ. This is the foundation on which they can build. Respect and recognition is due to their predecessors, without their sacrifice this successful continuation would not be possible.
In preparation for next year’s retiree reunion, he asked that everyone provide their contact information so that the registry is complete and no one is left out of the invitation.
