On 15 September 2026, students from the Szent-Györgyi Albert College for Advanced Studies of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) visited PEMÜ. Several students specializing in plastics were among the participants. The aim of the College for Advanced Studies is to complement university education and professional training with engaging professional programs, including factory visits.
The visit began with a brief company presentation, during which the students also had the opportunity to learn about PEMÜ’s history through a short film. This was followed by the most exciting part of the program: a tour of the production facilities. At the Injection Moulding 1 plant, a wide range of products were presented, and the students gained insight into the manufacturing technology, the variety of raw materials used, as well as the quality control process. The other area visited was the AutoPUR sun visor assembly plant, where the participants learned about the components of automotive sun visors and the different steps of the assembly process.
In both production areas, the visitors showed great interest and actively engaged with the presentations, asking numerous questions about the technologies demonstrated.
