Magyar Suzuki Zrt. held its Gala Dinner on May 28, 2025, in the impressive Royal Riding Hall building within Buda Castle. A significant anniversary was celebrated, marking 35 years since the letter of intent for car manufacturing was established between Suzuki and the Hungarian Government, in which the role of Osamu Suzuki, the former CEO, was outstanding. Osamu Suzuki’s remarkable life’s work was also celebrated as part of the Gala Dinner.
Toshihiro Suzuki, the current President and CEO of Suzuki Motor Corporation, expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and support of all those thanks to whom Magyar Suzuki has played a stable role in the domestic economy and international car manufacturing since 1991.
Atsumi Masato, CEO of Magyar Suzuki Zrt., praised Osamu Suzuki’s life’s work, particularly highlighting that Osamu Suzuki took the operation of the Hungarian factory especially to heart. He visited Hungary almost every year since the establishment of Magyar Suzuki, thereby contributing to the company’s growth.
The Gala Dinner was attended by former and current government members, leaders of Komárom-Esztergom County, officials of the diplomatic relations between Hungary and Japan, the management of Suzuki Motor Corporation, representatives of Magyar Suzuki’s suppliers, partners, and dealerships, as well as former and current employees of Magyar Suzuki.
PEMÜ Műanyagipari Zrt. was represented by Lilla Udvarosné Hajdár, Deputy CEO. PEMÜ Műanyagipari Zrt. has been a supplier to Magyar Suzuki since the establishment of the Esztergom factory.
The Suzuki relationship is particularly important for PEMÜ, a bond greatly strengthened by the recognition received from Osamu Suzuki, whom we remember with respect.
