In June 2022, the first face-to-face project meeting of the APRIL (Multipurpose robotics for manipulation of deformable materials in manufacturing processes) European Union H2020 project took place in Madrid.
In 2020, PEMÜ Co. Ltd. successfully joined April (Multipurpose robotics for manipulation of deformable materials in manufacturing processes), an international market-oriented research project funded by the European Union under the H2020 Framework Programme. In total, 15 project partners (universities, research institutes, small and medium-sized enterprises and several industrial partners) from 7 different countries are working on the development of a robot solution for difficult-to-robotise activities. As a consortium member, PEMÜ Co. Ltd. is working on the robotisation of viscoelastic cushion production within the project.
The first face-to-face meeting of the project members took place in Madrid in June 2022. During the two-day event, the project members met each other in person after more than 2 years of working together, and the project members also reported on the developments and achievements of the past period
