The Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) launched its business breakfast event series in October 2024, providing participants from the business sector with the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of BME’s various faculties.
On May 28, 2025, the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (GTK) of BME hosted the business breakfast. The opening speech, similar to previous business breakfasts, was given by Rector Charaf Hassan. In his presentation, he emphasized their goal of establishing the closest possible relationship with industrial partners. Following the welcoming remarks by the Rector and Dean Dr. Tamás Koltai, economic overviews and case studies were presented. After the presentations, there was also an opportunity for networking, both with BME representatives and the participating industry representatives. PEMÜ Műanyagipari Zrt. was represented at the event by Elvira Hajdárné Molnár, Chairperson and CEO, and Lilla Udvarosné Hajdár, Deputy CEO.
